CILICIA. Mallos. Circa 385-375 BC. Stater (Subaeratus, 23 mm, 9.28 g, 12 h), a contemporary plated imitation. Athena seated left, holding spear with her right hand and arm resting left on shield at side; behind to right, olive tree. Rev. [MAΛ] Hermes, holding kerykeion, standing facing, and Aphrodite, leaning half-left on pedestal, placing her hand on back of Hermes. Cf. Casabonne Type 12, SNG Levante 155 and SNG Paris 403-4 (for prototype). Lightly toned. Small test cuts and deposits and with minor breaks in plating, otherwise, about very fine.
